Mark Bennett, CEO and founder of WR Bennett, grew up in Wargrave, Berkshire, where his deep-rooted connection to Sheeplands Farm shaped both his values and vision. Continuing the stewardship of the family business alongside his brother Ryan Bennett, Mark has been instrumental in transforming the farm into a diverse and forward-thinking property group.
Guided by an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to integrity, Mark has built a portfolio of successful ventures centred around creating secure, high-quality spaces where people and businesses can thrive. Under his leadership, WR Bennett has remained proudly family-run, balancing calculated growth with long-term partnerships, trust, and reputation.

Since joining the business in 2015, Ryan has brought valuable expertise from a corporate finance background, further strengthening the group’s strategic direction and supporting its continued expansion.

Steve Poole leads maintenance, bringing hands-on expertise from his successful landscaping and graffiti removal businesses, while Zoe Heywood oversees business development, leveraging over 25 years of marketing and advertising experience across the travel and telecoms sectors.
